The “Aftermath”….the beautiful, beautiful aftermath.

A long-overdue update as folks are no-doubt looking to this site for more information following our receptions.

To summarize:  The trip was amazing.   Gabe couldn’t have been more excited in Legoland.  Everyone managed to find their way to Waldeck or Ober Werbe (“ober-verbeh”).  We had a great time with everyone before the wedding around the Edersee area.  The wedding itself went off with nary a hitch in spite of some weather (it’s good luck right?).

After the wedding we really enjoyed everyone’s company who followed us back to Adenau / Nürburg…..and around the Nürburgring in a pilgrimage of-sorts to where we got engaged “way back” in 2014.

The remainder of our trip was awash with majestic castles, interesting food, new friends, quaint hotels, and scenic drives.

Now….on to “happliy ever after”!

p.s. there is now a link to a small photo page at the top.

Loving it when a plan comes together.

Pardon the hiatus.

We’ve updated the schedule to what we currently know.  We have also   added some information in the “Waldeck/Edersee” area that also covers somethings to do / places to see outside the immediate area.

Packing Note:  Average temperature in Waldeck in September ranges from ~47-67F, so you’ll want a jacket, and shouldn’t dread wearing a suit.

We’ve also added an “afterparty” page for information on visiting the ‘ring with us in the day or two after the ceremony.

Glad all of you could come and ‘can’t wait to see you there

Small Updates.

With several of you having already received your invitations, I felt I should update the schedule.   While detailed plans will be forthcoming, we at least have our travel schedules nailed down as well as those of some other key players (the gentleman officiating as well as the lady and gent who will put it on figurative film for posterity).

In the meantime, Liz and I are entertaining ourselves with having rings made.

More to come!

Information coming soon.

Liz and I are hard at work getting invitations out and planning various levels of shenanigans surrounding our big day.  Please check back soon for more information.
